Impact
Living next to the mediterranean sea led to fishing being a main source of food and boats being a large form of transportation. It was also rather hot towards the south, and buildings and clothing reflect this, being light in color to reflect heat. Humans also tended to live in larger continent shores, rather than the many islands, due to the islands mostly being in poverty. They used the islands to their advantage though, using them as trading posts for sailors (as well as resting areas), and even used one as a prison (Chateau D'if).
